Rosie Perez

KimRosie Perez, born Rosa Maria Perez, September 6 1964, is an American dancer and actress. Her first role in the role of Tina in Do the Right Thing (1989) was followed by White Men Can't jump (1992). Perez's performance on Fearless (1993) earned her an award nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, among other accolades. Perez has been in numerous films since her time in the film which include It Could Happen to You (1994), The Road to El Dorado ((2000), Pineapple Express (2008) and Birds of Prey (2021). She was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Award nominations, one for In Living Color (1990-1994), and another nomination for her role in The Flight Attendant (2020-2021). She also has appeared in Broadway productions, including The Ritz and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune and Fish in the Dark. The 18th season was the time she was a co-host on ABC's talk program The View. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood, Queens. [11] Her mother lived in poverty in Woodside Houses by 1999. Her death was due to AIDS-related complications in 1999.
