Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn, a member of the Mormon Church's longest-running family, combined her literary talents and exceptional research abilities into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man Knew My History appeared in 1945. The name was taken from the sermon title delivered by Joseph Smith in 1844, when he shocked his hearers with his words: "You do not know me and have not heard my voice. Nobody knows my story. There is no way for me to reveal it. Fawn 29, a woman of 29 years old, has written: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have taken on the task." There are some who have made an attempt to create a diagnostic diagnosis. Documents do not lack and contradictory. The process of assembling these documents, sifting through first-hand and third-hand sources, and integrating Mormons' tales of the past to those of non-Mormons into a true time-line - is a thorny task. It is both interesting and eye-opening. Fawn brodie was professionally dedicated to this task. The fruits of her research and writing made her immortalized with the world's attention: Thaddeus Stevens. The DevilDrives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate history (1974), posthumous.
